XARP XP1440-15W Robots Complete Aging Tests and Prepare for Shipment
A new batch of XARP XP1440-15W 6-axis industrial robots has completed production and aging tests and is now ready for packing and shipment.
With a 15 kg payload, 1,400 mm reach, and ±0.05 mm repeatability, the XP1440-15W provides a versatile robotic platform for industrial automation projects where payload capacity, working range, and positioning repeatability are important selection factors.
Photos of the completed robots were recently shared on XARP's Facebook page. In addition to showing the latest production progress, the post generated inquiries from overseas buyers with different robot and automation requirements.
XP1440-15W Robots Complete Production and Aging Tests
Before packing and shipment, this batch of XP1440-15W robots completed the required production and aging test process at XARP.
The confirmed key specifications of the XP1440-15W are:
| Model | XP1440-15W |
|---|---|
| Number of Axes | 6 |
| Payload | 15 kg |
| Reach | 1,400 mm |
| Repeatability | ±0.05 mm |
With testing completed, the robots are moving to the packing stage in preparation for shipment.
For industrial buyers and system integrators, robot specifications are only part of the selection process. The actual configuration should also be evaluated according to the manufacturing process, workpiece, tooling, installation layout, working range, and integration requirements.
Facebook Post Brings New Overseas Robot Inquiries
The production update also attracted attention after the robot photos were shared on Facebook.
One buyer asked about the robots shown in the photos, while another contacted XARP with a different requirement: a small 4-axis robot arm equipped with a gripper, with an approximately 70 mm gripper opening and a required handling weight of less than 500 g.
This second inquiry represents a much lighter automation requirement than the XP1440-15W and demonstrates an important point in industrial robot selection: the appropriate robot should be evaluated according to the application rather than selected only by appearance or payload.
XP910-6C: A Compact 6-Axis Option for Lightweight Automation
For lightweight handling requirements, XARP can also evaluate the XP910-6C 6-axis industrial robot.
The XP910-6C has a 6 kg payload and 910 mm reach. Although the Facebook inquiry initially requested a 4-axis arm, a compact 6-axis configuration can provide additional freedom of movement when the application requires the gripper or workpiece to approach different positions and orientations.
Depending on the project requirements, the XP910-6C can be considered for lightweight automation tasks including:
- Loading and unloading
- Machine tending
- Pick and place
- Material handling
- Sorting and packaging
- Suitable palletizing applications
XARP can also evaluate different end-of-arm tooling options, including mechanical grippers, vacuum grippers, and application-specific tooling.
Robot and Gripper Selection Starts with the Workpiece
For the Facebook inquiry involving a 70 mm gripper opening and a workpiece weighing less than 500 g, those two values provide useful starting information, but they are not enough by themselves to determine the final robot and gripper configuration.
For a more complete technical evaluation, useful project information includes:
- Workpiece dimensions and weight
- Material and gripping surface
- Required gripper opening
- Pick and place positions
- Required working range
- Machine or production-line layout
- Required workpiece orientation
- Production process and handling sequence
Photos, drawings, samples, or videos of the existing process can also help XARP engineers evaluate the gripping method and robot configuration.
Different Robot Sizes for Different Automation Requirements
The XP1440-15W and XP910-6C illustrate two different robot configurations within XARP's industrial robot range.
The XP1440-15W provides a 15 kg payload and 1,400 mm reach, while the compact XP910-6C provides a 6 kg payload and 910 mm reach for lighter automation requirements.
Neither payload nor reach alone determines whether a robot is suitable. Tool weight, workpiece dimensions, motion path, required orientation, fixture design, installation space, and surrounding equipment all need to be considered during robot selection and system integration.
From Robot Manufacturing to Application Support
The latest XP1440-15W production and testing activity represents one part of XARP's work with global industrial customers, distributors, and system integrators.
From robot selection and application evaluation to tooling, testing, integration, training, and technical support, the objective is to match the robot configuration to the actual production requirement.
If you are evaluating the XP1440-15W, XP910-6C, or another XARP robot for your automation project, send us your workpiece information, drawings, photos, videos, and process requirements.
